Deb Palmer George
Deb Palmer George’s mission is to guide individuals and organizations to thriving. She does this by combining over 25 years of executive experience in HR/OD, strategic planning and sales with advanced training in emotional intelligence, appreciative inquiry, conflict transformation, and organization development.
As a lead facilitator, executive coach and professional speaker, Deb guides people toward the fullest expression of their potential, personally and professionally. She does this by integrating timeless truths with today’s research in human flourishing and organization development. Deb works with organizations ranging from technology start-ups to healthcare institutions, project teams to boards of directors. Leaders in all sectors engage her for empowering, practical approaches to moving beyond challenges and adversity to build positive relationships and optimum results.
Deb is a 2013 recipient of the Nashville Business Journal Women of Influence Award – Inspiration/ Mentor. Her Nashville community service includes serving as Chair of the Metro Human Relations Commission, Board President of JUMP CDC and service on the International Coach Federation-TN and CABLE boards. Deb is a former recipient of the Business Education Person of the Year by the Ohio Vocational Education Association for her efforts in workforce development.
Devoted to lifelong learning, Deb has built on her degree in Psychology with certifications from the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland, and CASE Western Reserve University where she received certification in Appreciative Inquiry. She is certified in various individual and team assessments and 360-degree feedback tools. As a licensed affiliate of Conscious Choosing for Flow™, Deb helps people make positive connections that transform conflict to creativity and optimum results – in the moment. Whatever the topic, her workshops and keynotes are designed for genuine engagement and to provide something useful for every participant.
Deb has completed 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and teaches workshops in cultivating authentic presence, mindfulness for leaders, and the yoga of teams. She loves living in Middle Tennessee with her husband, Dennis and can be found most weekends aboard their vintage custom houseboat with their dog, Mattie.
